Welcome to the web page of the Section for Global Inequalities and Socio-Ecological Change.
Our research and teaching is concerned with global socio-ecological inequalities, theoretical issues around society’s relation to nature, societal conflicts around agricultural and energy systems, “green grabbing”, and the production of technological knowledge in the emerging bio-economy.
Regional foci are Western Europe, South America and South-East Asia.

The main issues addressed in the Section can be found at: www.bioinequalities.uni-jena.de de
